Sedalia STING Unit Makes Two Separate Drug Related Arrests
The Sedalia STING Unit arrested 47-year-old Rodger Becker for possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia and abuse/lose license suspension, after he accidentally dropped a bag of methamphetamine, while at Breaktime on May 5. The management found the baggie on the floor inside the business and contacted the Sedalia Police Department. Becker was issued a $5,000 cash/surety bond for the charges he faces, with a court date to be decided.
The Sedalia STING Unit arrested 17-year-old Kayla Belisle for being in possession of a controlled/schedule 4 prescription medication (Alprazolam), for which she did not have a prescription, marijuana and related drug paraphernalia. Belisle was pulled over by Sedalia Police in the area of South Moniteau Avenue and West 4th Street on May 1 for not having a front license plate on her vehicle. Belisle was later issued a $5,000 cash/surety bond, with a court date to be decided.
