A man faces drug-related charges after Sedalia Police pulled his vehicle over for traffic violations in the area of East Broadway and South Thompson Tuesday night (March 12).

Timothy Edwards' truck committed several improper lane violations and was pulled over Tuesday night at 10:52. The Sedalia Police Department K9 Unit performed a sniff on the vehicle and discovered the presence of a narcotic odor.

Sedalia Police found prepackaged baggies of methamphetamine that is consistent with distributing drugs. Edwards was also found to have a large quantity of methamphetamine.

Edwards was arrested and faces two felony charges for possession of methamphetamine with the intent to distribute and possession of methamphetamine; a misdemeanor charge of possession of drug paraphernalia and a traffic infraction for improper lane use.
