At 6:23 this morning (Dec. 13), the Sedalia Police Department's STING Unit along with other officers served a search warrant at 615 West 2nd St. The police report states several subjects were secured at the residence during a search that revealed a large amount of what was believed to be methamphetamine, as well as packaging materials and illegal prescription pills.

Three subjects were arrested then released without charges at the Pettis County Jail. According to the police report, 19-year-old Bradley C. Wesley of the residence was arrested and transported to the Pettis County Jail pending charges of possession of a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance with the intent to distribute. Also arrested was 28-year-old Eric R. Jones of the residence. Jones is being held at the Pettis County jail pending formal charges of possession of an imitation controlled substance, possession with the intent to distribute and possession of a controlled substance.
