Sedalia Teen Injured in Wednesday Evening Wreck

A 19-year old Sedalia man was taken to a Columbia hospital Wednesday evening after his car struck a tree in Pettis County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported the wreck at 6:00, on Forest Park Road, south of Covered Bridge Road.

According to the online crash report, a 2003 Honda Accord failed to negotiate a curve and traveled off the road, striking a tree.

The driver, Phoenix M. Painter-Torres, of Sedalia, suffered moderate injuries in the wreck. Torres was taken to University Hospital, by PCAD, for treatment.
