Sedalia Woman Injured After Car Strikes Tractor

A Sedalia woman suffered minor injuries after the car she was driving struck a tractor Saturday afternoon in Hickory County.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 61-year-old Peggy Kuhlman was the driver of a northbound 2015 Ford Focus on Highway 83, 2.5 miles north of Quincy, Mo., at 2:33 p.m., when she struck the rear of a northbound John Deere Tractor Model 7210 driven by 68-year-old Denzil K. Shinn of Quincy.

Kuhlman was transported to Golden Valley hospital by EMS, while Shinn was reportedly uninjured.

The Focus has moderate damage and towed from the scene, while the tractor had minor damage and was driven from the scene.

The Patrol said she was wearing a safety device at the time of the crash.
