A Sedalia woman was injured in a two-vehicle accident that occurred Wednesday afternoon in Pettis County.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 18-year-old Seth M. Hoover of Sedalia was the driver of a northbound 1995 Ford F-150 on North Grand (Georgetown Road) at Highway 65 at 1:27 p.m. Wednesday when he attempted to cross the highway, and struck a westbound 2010 Chevy Malibu driven by 84-year-old Marion E. Thomas of Sedalia.

Thomas' passenger, 82-year-old Carolyn R. Thomas of Sedalia, suffered minor injuries and was transported to Bothwell Regional Health Center.

Hoover was reportedly uninjured. His Ford had minor damage. The Malibu had moderate damage and was towed from the scene by State Fair Towing.
