Sedalia Woman Suffers Moderate Injuries After Striking a Deer in Morgan County
A 37-year-old Sedalia woman suffered moderate injuries in a one-vehicle accident that occurred Sunday morning just before 3 a.m. in Morgan County.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Krista K. Padgett was the driver of a westbound 2012 Hyundai Sonata on US 50, a quarter mile east of Old Highway 50, when the vehicle struck a deer.
Padgett was transported to Bothwell Regional Health Center by ambulance with moderate injuries. She was wearing a safety device, according to the report.
The Sonata had moderate damage and was towed from the scene by Don's Truck Towing. Morgan County deputies assisted the Patrol at the scene.
