Sedalia Young Professionals Fall Food Drive at Walmart

The Sedalia Young Professionals will be at Walmart on November 13 and 14 collecting food for Open Door Ministries Food Pantry

This is the fourth annual fall food drive for SYP.

SYP members will collect food at both entrances of Walmart, located at 3201 W. Broadway Blvd. from 5:30 to 8:00 p.m.

There will be large boxes set-up so area residents can donate non-perishable food items that are needed by those served at Open Door’s food pantry in Sedalia.

Open Door also needs blankets and diapers in sizes 4, 5 and 6. SYP says monetary donations will also be accepted.

SYP’s 2016 fall food drive collected more than 900 pounds of food to donate to Open Door.
