Sheriff's reports for July 5

On July 1, Pettis County deputies attempted to stop a red Ford Blazer on Forest Park Road for having no license plates. Deputies and Highway Patrol pursued the Blazer to Pacific School Road, where Highway Patrol was able to deploy stop sticks. The male driver was identified as Austin Dotson of Sedalia. Dotson eluded officers on foot on Pacific School Road, but was later located by deputies and arrested for Felony Resisting.

On July 3, Pettis County deputies took a burglary report from Morgan Stout, 100 block of Villa Drive, Sedalia. Three pair of Nike shoes were stolen with a collective value of $300. The person in possession of the shoes was attempting to sell them, the report said.

On July 2, deputies arrested Angel Escobar of Sedalia at H Highway and Flint in Pettis County on outstanding Pettis County warrants.

On July 2, deputies arrested Blake A. Hollon of Sedalia at H Highway and Flint for possession of marijuana. Hollon was later released on summonses, the report said.

On July 4, Pettis County Sheriff's deputies, along with agents from the Missouri Department of Conservatio, arrested the following Sedalians:

Angel Escobar for littering, Jorge L. Marcos for littering, Cruz Escobar for littering, possession of drug paraphernalia, minor visibly intoxicated; Jose L. Herrerea for minor visibly intoxicated and littering; Oscar D. Padilla for possession of marijuana, littering, and minor visibly intoxicated; Jose L. Romero for minor visibly intoxicated and littering. All were arrested in the area of Carpenter Road and McGee, also known as Green's Crossing near Smithton.

All subjects were later released with summonses and court dates.
