The annual Sedalia St. Patrick's Day Parade took place Saturday morning (March 14) under the direction of parade organizer Terry Cockrell.

This was the first St. Patrick's Day Parade he organized and allowed anybody to enter the parade. The entries were on the small side this year, but there was a spirited crowd that lined Ohio Street to watch the participants wearing green.

The parade has happened every year since 1970. The Sedalia VFW held a lunch after the parade.

We hope you have a Happy St. Patrick's Day on Tuesday.
