Here’s a look at what’s happening this weekend! 

There will be a Table of Five Catering Benefit, Pizza for Chad Stover #18.

It’ll be held on Friday, November 22.  Table of Five Catering is offering wood fired pizza and a drink with all money going to the Stover Family.  Friday, November 22, 2013 from 11am until we sell 200 pizzas! Stop by KSDL, 2209 S. Limit (by John Deere) Pizza and drink  for $10.  Plan on having pizza for lunch and support the family! For more information contact:  Lisa Dover  660-864-7461

The Loyal Rebekah Lodge #260 will have a Chili or Vegetable Soup supper on Friday, November 22. 

It’ll be held from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.  They’ll have chili or soup with a dessert and drink.  It’ll be at 901 East 9th street and will only cost $5 for an adult.  Kids under five eat for free.  For the pickier kid eaters, hot dogs will also be available.  They’ll have homemade pies, cookies, cakes and all sorts of goodies. Carry outs are also available.

The El Dororado UMC will host a Deer Hunter’s Breakfast.

This will be held on November 23.  Serving starts at 4:00 a.m.  They’ll have biscuits and gravy, sausage, bacon, eggs, hash browns, coffee and more for a free will donation.  Everyone is welcome. For information, call Ken Vickrey at 660-281-2978.

The 36th annual Ham and Bean Dinner will be held on Saturday, November 23. 

The St Patrick Church will sponsor the dinner in the Parish Hall from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.  The all you can eat dinner will include slaw, cornbread, dessert and drink.  There will also be homemade vegetable soup and ham sandwiches with dessert and drink available.  They’ll also have a country store featuring crafts, baked goods, woodworking, crocheting, kitchen items, and knick knacks.  For more information, contact Chuck Mattingly at 281-5031.

The Sedalia Chorale will present their fall concert: Music Throughout The Ages.

This will be held on November 23 at 7:00 p.m. at the Broadway Presbyterian Church, 209 West Broadway in Sedalia.  Adult admission is $10, students get in for free with ID.

The Elks Hoop Shoot will take place at the Sacred Heart Gym on November 25.

They’ll begin registration at 6:00 p.m. and start the game at 7:00 p.m.  This will be hosted by the Elks Lodge #125 of Sedalia. This is free to boy sand girls who will be between the ages of 8-13 on April 1 of 2014.  Learn More at elks.org/hoopshoot or contact Doug Tilman at 660-287-0496.
