Here's a look at some of the goings on this weekend. 

After Work Sip and Shop, sponsored by Wildlife Ridge Winery is on Friday, April 18.

It will be held at the Knights of Columbus Hall at 1708 Elm Hills Blvd. in Sedalia from 3-8 p.m. for wine tasting, food sampling and booth shopping. Find the perfect gift, a wine you love and the tasty bite that compliments it all. Admission is $3, or $2 when you bring an item to donate to Child Safe of Central Missouri. With your admission, you get wine tastings, booth shopping, food samples, and chances to win prizes.

The Knights of Columbus in Warsaw will have a Flea Market and Trade event.

It’ll take place at the KOC Hall on Old Highway 65 in Warsaw April 18 and 19 from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.  There is a free will donation for admission, and booths are still available.  For more information, call Alex at 660-723-2478.

The State Fair Lions Club are having their annual Crappie Tournament.

It’ll be held on Saturday, April 19 from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.  at Bucksaw Marina 670 SE 803 Rd, Clinton, Truman Lake only.  Payback is 70% of the proceeds, will pay 1 place for each 10 entries.  The entry fee is $40 a boat by Friday, April 18.  Late entries will be $50 on tournament day.  No shows cannot be refunded.  For more information or to register, contact the Sedalia State Fair Lions Club at 660-287-3086.

AnimalFair will have a pet adoption event.

It’ll be held on Sat Apr 19, 2014  10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Tractor Supply Company in Sedalia. Come meet your new pet.  All the animals are completely vetted and ready for loving, forever homes.  For more information, visit their Facebook.

The Earth Day Celebration at Bright Hope Farm will be held on April 19.

It'll take place at 16330 Farmers City Road, Hughesville. They’ll have spin gypsies, games, crafts, herb walk, and food furnished by the Boy Scouts. You’ll learn about the importance of honeybees, and how to reuse, reduce, and recycle. There will be an Easter Egg Hunt, petting zoo, and horseback riding. The Moose Riders will be hosting an auction to upgrade and repair the kitchen.

The auction is open to the public on April 19 at the Moose Lodge #1494, 119 Winchester rive. They’ll have a silent auction will be from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Food will be served from 4:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. including turkey, mashed potatoes, gravy, veggies, rolls an dessert, with barbecued pulled pork for a cost of $7. Live auction will be from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. They’ll also have a dance from 7:00 p.m to 11:00 p.m. The cost for the dance is $6.

The Sedalia Salvation Army Corps and Community Center will host their annual Easter community dinner on Sunday, April 20th.

The meal will be held at 1200 E Broadway, Sedalia. The meal is free to all, and will be available from 12:30 p.m to 2:00 p.m. at 1200 East Broadway. Shut-ins may contact The Salvation Army for this meal at 826-1525.
