Sexual Misconduct Complaint Being Investigated at Smith-Cotton

On Tuesday afternoon, Sedalia Police responded to Smith-Cotton High School, 2010 Tiger Pride Blvd., to assist the Pettis County Children's Division regarding a sexual misconduct complaint. The investigation is ongoing and no arrests have been made, the report said.

Sedalia Police responded to a report of possible sex abuse involving a child in the 500 block of South State Fair Boulevard. The SPD assisted the Pettis County Children's Division in the case.

On Tuesday morning, Sedalia Police took a property damage report in the 1700 block of S. Moniteau. According to the report a back door was kicked in and multiple items were stolen, totaling $790 in value. There are no suspects.
