The State Fair Community College Horticulture Club spring plant sale is now open in the greenhouse behind the Potter-Ewing Agriculture Building on the Sedalia campus.

Hours are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday and 8:30 a.m. to noon Saturday until May 6. Early shoppers will have the best selection of plants. Weekly specials will be offered throughout the sale, such as buy two and get one free.

A special on cold crop plants will occur April 17-22. A flat sale will not be offered at the end of the sale.

Plants available include vegetables, herbs, premium annuals, annuals, perennials, hanging baskets, mixed containers, berries, and cold crops.

Proceeds will be used to buy equipment and supplies for the horticulture program and greenhouses and to fund educational trips.
