SFCC (10-5) outscored Southeastern 21-10 in the second quarter and sealed the win 78-49 to extend their winning streak to four games.

"I wanted us to keep running because I knew it would wear them down," said Head Coach Kevin Bucher. "I was pleased with the way our post players performed tonight. Catie (Kaifes) has been shooting the ball well since the St. Louis game, and that's what we expect her to do."

Kaifes led four Lady Roadrunners in double figures scoring 19 points, including five of six three-point shots. She also pulled down six rebounds. Alexis Cowan contributed 13 points. Danaé Cole pitched in 12 and Kendra Boone added 10 points and also led in rebounds with eight. Ren'Cia Rolling and Amani Williams tied for the team lead in assists with four. Grace Morrow and Boone tied for the lead in blocked shots with two. Cowan led in steals with three.

SFCC will close their two-game home stand at 5:30 p.m. Jan. 13 when they open Region 16 play against Three Rivers Community College Lady Raiders. The game is also part of the Missouri Community College Athletic Conference. The Roadrunners will play at 7:30 p.m.
