The State Fair Community College Lady Roadrunners have signed Alizé Lofton as the final member of their 2014-2015 recruiting class.

The 6-0 point guard played high school basketball for Head Coach Ellis Barfield at Lynwood High School in Lynwood, California. She sat out last season after helping Lynwood go to the Division II AA state championship as a senior; the team finished the season with a 29-5 record.

Lofton was named the Division II AA California Player of the Year and Wave Newspaper East Region Player of the Year as a senior. She also was named to the Maxpreps.com Division II All-State First Team and the All-CIF Southern Section First Team Division II AA. Lofton averaged 9.3 points, 4.5 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 1.6 steals her senior year.

“Alizé can attack the basket,” said Head Coach Kevin Bucher. “We have not had a guard for quite a while who can penetrate and pass the ball the way she can.”
