State Fair Community College and the Missouri Career Center will host a Job Fair in mid-September and they are seeking area employers to share information and interact with potential employees.

The Job Fair is scheduled from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on September 19.

It will take place in the Fred E. Davis Multipurpose Center on the SFCC campus, in Sedalia.

The registration cost is $25 for one 5-foot table and two chairs. Registration will end on September 11.

A press release from SFCC, says that exhibitors can begin setting up at 8:00 a.m. on September 19. A designated area will be available for attendees to complete applications and for exhibitors to conduct on-site interviews.

SFCC says that lunch will be provided.

“The Job Fair is a great event that connects our students and community members with local and regional employers,” said Susan Nelson, SFCC Career and Transfer Services coordinator. “The fair provides employers the opportunity to showcase their businesses and organizations, and we encourage them to come and recruit applicants for their companies and businesses.

“In addition to the fair, State Fair Community College has implemented a new online platform for job posting and outreach for employers. Employers can simply visit collegecentral.com/sfccmo to create a free user profile and post any job openings they may have. This site is great for employers to connect with our students, list current job openings and provides our students with a large database of job opportunities.”
