Sharon K. Hudson, 57, of Springfield, formerly of Sedalia passed away Saturday, Dec. 14, 2013 at Mercy Hospital, Springfield, Mo.  She was born on Nov. 24, 1956 in Kansas City, MO a daughter of Roy and Oletta (Skaggs) Miller.

She was united in marriage to Larry Hudson, who preceded her in death on July 25, 2009.

Sharon and Larry owned and operated Mickey Land Bar and Grill in Sunrise Beach, MO from 1991 to 1996. She was a free spirit who enjoyed listening to music, especially Elvis. Sharon loved dearly spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by two children, Christina (Josh) Levin of Springfield and Anthony (Keesha) Martin of Sedalia; two stepchildren, Mike (Kristi) Hudson of Kingsville, MO and Todd (Candy) Hudson of Sedalia; one step daughter-in-law, Monica Hudson of Sedalia; three sisters, Elizabeth (Larry) Craig, Marilyn Miller and Mary (Robert) Dawson all of Sedalia; one brother, Leonard (Mellissa) Miller of Lee’s Summit and eight grandchildren, Justin, Savanah, Jayden, Maurice, Jasmine, Jaxon, Brianna and Kelsey.

Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one stepson, Quentin Hudson; three grandchildren, Amanda Hope Facey, Ashton Hudson and Jacey Hudson; one sister, Marie Alvorado and one brother David Miller.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am, Friday, December 20, 2013, at Rea Funeral Chapel, Sedalia with Rev. Harvey Miller officiating.

Memorial contributions are suggested to The American Cancer Society or The American Kidney Association in care of the funeral chapel.
