Sherry Lynn (Yonce) Nieman, 55, of Warrensburg, formerly of Sedalia passed away Friday, December 27, 2013 at her home.  She was born on Nov. 13, 1958 in Sedalia, a son of Larry and Sharon (Askey) Yonce.

In 1997, she was united in marriage to John Quirk, who passed away in 2006.  On October 7, 2008, in Windsor she was united in marriage to Terry Nieman, who survives of the home.

She was baptized in 1968 at Faith Baptist Church.  Sherry worked as an EMT for LifeGuard Ambulance in Sedalia/Warrensburg and the Windsor Ambulance District. In 2011, following her diagnosis she retired after 20 years of service. She enjoyed painting, crocheting and quilting.

Besides her mother, she is survived by two daughters, Ginny Lynn Duncan and her husband Coley of Warrensburg and Jessica Leeann Peraud of Knob Noster; a granddaughter, Adelaide Peraud and a sister, Lory Ann Hill and her husband Ted of Sedalia.

Besides her father, she was preceded in death by two children, Robert Yeater and Abbi Quirk, both at infancy; and a brother, Rick Joe Yonce.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am, Thursday, January 2, 2014, at Rea Funeral Chapel, Sedalia with Rev. Ray Haught officiating.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to service.

Memorial contributions are suggested to American Cancer Society or The National EMS Memorial Service in care of the funeral chapel.
