According to Pettis County Emergency Management Agency Director, Dave Clippert, Pettis County is firmly in the Slight Risk for severe weather today. The main risk with any severe storms today/tonight is high winds (58 MPH or higher) and large hail (1 inch or larger). There is a tornado risk but it is quite low. Heavy rains could accompany any storms we receive today, so please watch for water over the roads. We are expected to continue to receive rains through at least Wednesday, so flooding over the roads is a good possibility.

Timing on this is most likely early afternoon, starting from noon to about 4 PM. Keep an eye on the sky today and be Storm Aware!
