Slow Down This Christmas Season With a Christmas On The Farm [INTERVIEW]
The Simple Blessings Farm invites the public out on December 20 from a Country Christmas on The Farm. The Holidays can be so busy and absolutely insane. We get so caught up in all the stuff we have to do, that we forget to take a moment and ENJOY IT. That’s what the people out at Simple Blessings Farm want us to do. They’re holding a big event for the Country Christmas on The Farm with lots of different things for the family to do. They’re going to have vendors for last minute shopping, a hot chocolate bar, Christmas cookie decorating, winter family portraits, arts and crafts, games, Santa and Mrs Clause, RiOak Snowman Crafting, horse and carriage rides, caroling and musical entertainment, warm apple cider, fresh baked goods, and three delicious meals. I got to talk with Rachel Jones of the Simple Blessings Farm about the day and what you can come out and enjoy.
So go on by on Saturday the 20th from 8:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. and bring a canned good to donate. It’s free to attend, but if you want to go to one of the meals like PJ Storytime and Breakfast, Craftin with the Clauses or the Dinner and Caroling, you’ll need to buy those beforehand. Get your tickets by emailing Simpleblessingsbarn@gmail.com, or you can call 660-233-9040. If you want to find out more about the Simple Blessings Farm and other events they host, you can go to their Facebook page. They’ve also got a homepage if you’d like to check that out. They’re just out between Sedalia and Warrensburg. If you are traveling on Hwy 50, we are just northeast of Knob Noster, MO right off of Hwy FF. It’s only about two miles – pretty easy to find. If nothing else, just look for the tree growing out of the silo along 50!
