The Smith-Cotton Tigers Football Homecoming is right around the corner. Here is a list of events for that weekend:

On Friday, September 16th, The Sedalia School District Foundation will kick things off by presenting the Distinguished Alumni Award to Dr. Diane Cordry Golden. The ceremony will be held in the Heckart Performing Arts Center at Smith-Cotton High School.

The Homecoming Parade will make its way through Downtown Sedalia beginning at 3:00pm on Friday the 16th.

At 5:00 that evening, The Sedalia School District Foundation is inviting all Smith-Cotton Tiger alumni and the Sedalia community to join in for the annual tailgate party in front of Smith-Cotton High School Gymnasium.

The main event will take place at 7:00pm as the Smith-Cotton Tigers take on the Nevada Tigers for the Homecoming game at the Jennie Jaynes Complex!

The following day, Saturday, September 17th, from 7:30 - 9:30am, a pancake and sausage breakfast and tours will be held at the Smith-Cotton Junior High campus. Entertainment will be provided by "Future Alumni." Advance tickets to the pancake breakfast are available by calling 660-829-2562.

Beginning at 9:30am, tours of the Smith-Cotton High School campus will take place. These tours will be conducted by Smith-Cotton students and administrators.
