Smith-Cotton Tigers Prepare for Round Two of McDonald’s Boys Basketball Classic

The 2013 McDonald’s Boys Classic brings on second round action today.  They hope to have all the games back at Smith-Cotton High School gym after losing power for the final two games in the first round yesterday (Jan. 10), utilizing the Smith-Cotton Jr. High gym to finish the first round.

In the first round, Parkview defeated Southwest ECC (KC) 74-40; Moberly beat Eldon 40-39; Rock Bridge beat East (KC) 76-52; and Branson defeated Smith-Cotton 66-37.

Today’s matchups will feature Southwest ECC (KC) vs Eldon at 4:30 p.m; KC East vs Smith-Cotton at 6 p.m.; Parkview vs Moberly at 7:30 p.m.; and Rock Bridge vs Branson at 9 p.m.

Al McCurdy will continue to bring the play-by-play with KC East vs Smith-Cotton at 6 p.m. Tonight (Jan. 11) on 92.3 Bob-FM and online.
