SMS Students Engage in Robot Wars

Sedalia Middle School science students recently engaged in a Robot Wars activity using STEM principles.

STEM uses four disciplines; science, technology, engineering and mathematics.

The students were provided a small motor, then created a secure housing for it and added decorations to give their robots character. The students who followed "best practice" guidelines and showed the most creativity won prizes.

The winners of the Robot Wars project were Marcelino Aguilar with 1st place, Shawn Ray with 2nd place, and Edward Hunt with 3rd place.
