The next installment of Warrensburg Main Street's Sounds of Summer Concert Series is Friday, when country rock band Mudlfap Mafia and Celtic rock band Chance the Arm perform a free concert!

Music begins at 7 p.m. with Mudflap Mafia, and Chance the Arm will start at 9. Pine Street will close at 5:30, and bars will be set up on the street to serve food and drinks. Pine Street will be open container, and no outside drinks will be allowed into the concert area. Everyone is invited, and encouraged to bring lawn chairs.

Mudflap Mafia is from Cass County, and they've been performing since 2012. They are described as a "high energy country rock band with a repertoire of songs that defy easy classification."

Chance the Arm is a seven piece Celtic rock band from Kansas City that began playing shows around the area in 2011. "they combine traditional Celtic melodies, hard rock, and bluegrass, all while paying homage to the Celtic genre favorites."

Two additional dates remain on the Sounds of Summer schedule for 2016: Friday, July 15 and Friday, August 19.
