Late Saturday night (Aug 11), Sedalia Police were dispatched to 1613 S. Limit Ave for a disturbance involving approximately ten people that possibly involved knives and guns.

The original caller was reportedly not directly involved but overheard threats of weapons.

Police arrived in the area but most of the people involved had left the scene. Officers contacted a juvenile subject who advised that he and another juvenile had been involved in "some type of incident" and had knives. According to the report, the juvenile said no one was actually assaulted or injured.

The second juvenile was later located and a parent claimed that someone at the incident had also been armed with a handgun.

At the time of the report, no arrests had been made and police are attempting to review security camera footage from businesses in the area to determine the details of the incident.
