Spring Passport Fair at Sedalia Post Office

Are you planning to travel abroad for vacation this summer? If so, you'll have the opportunity to apply for a passport during the Sedalia Post Office's Passport Fair on Saturday, March 31.

The Passport Fair is scheduled from 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. Extra staff will be on hand to help assist with passport applications.

The cost for an adult passport book is $110, while a child's passport book is $80.00.

Pictures are $15 and the processing fee for both adults and children is $25.00.

Applicants must have a photo ID and either a certified copy of a birth certificate or proof of citizenship.

Post Office employee Shannon Furnell says that acceptance fees are currently $25.00 but that price will raise to $35.00 on April 1, 2018.

Beth Grother, with the Sedalia Post Office, noted that applicants should apply as early as possible to avoid extra fees that may be associated with expediting passport applications. The Sedalia Post Office is located at 405 E. 5th Street.
