The St. Louis Cardinals will begin their Spring Training schedule on March 2, and before you know it, the regular season will be underway. Here are a few key dates on the Cardinals' calendar for the upcoming 2016 season.

The St. Louis Cardinals will open the season on the road in Pittsburgh on Sunday, April 3. The first home game at Busch Stadium won't be until Monday, April 11, when the Cardinals host the Milwaukee Brewers.

The Cardinals and Cubs will play each other for the first time early in the season, Monday, April 18 through Wednesday, April 20 in St. Louis. The Cubs also visit Busch Stadium May 23-May 25. The Cardinals will travel to Wrigley Field Monday, June 20-Wednesday, June 22. The Cubs will host the Cardinals again August 11-August 14. The final Cardinals/Cubs series of the season in St. Louis will be September 12-September 14, and the teams will meet for the final time in the regular season in Chicago September 23 through September 25.

The St. Louis Cardinals and Kansas City Royals will play each other four times: June 27-June 28 in Kansas City, and June 29-June 30 in St. Louis. There are no interleague games this season between the Cardinals and Chicago White Sox.

The All-Star Break is July 11-July 14, with the All-Star Game on Tuesday, July 12.
