The St. Louis Cardinals announced that their game with the San Francisco Giants was postponed yesterday (May 31) due to multiple forecasts of approaching extreme weather and at the recommendation of public safety officials.

The two teams will make up the game today, June 1, as part of a day/night split doubleheader with yesterday's make-up game starting at 12:15 p.m. CDT, followed by the regularly-scheduled game at 6:15 p.m. CDT.

Fans holding tickets for yesterday's game should use those same tickets for admittance to today's 12:15 p.m. make-up game.

Busch Stadium gates will open at 11 a.m. for and they will open at the regularly scheduled time of 4:15 p.m. for tomorrow’s second game.

Yesterday's postponement  is the seventh regular-season game to be postponed at Busch Stadium III and the first since April 19, 2011.
