St. Louis Man Injured After Slamming Into Rear of Motorhome
A two-vehicle accident injured a St. Louis man on Thursday evening in Johnson County.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a westbound 2017 Chevy Cruze driven by 46-year-old Raynal A. Blackmon of St. Louis struck the rear of a westbound Volvo motorhome driven by 39-year-old Chad C. Tham of Sanborn, Minnesota on Highway 50 at NW 391 as the motorhome slowed to make a right turn at 6:51 p.m.
Blackom suffered moderate injuries and was transported to Western Missouri Medical Center for treatment, while Tham refused treatment. Neither were wearing a safety device, acccording to the report.
The Cruze was totaled and towed from the scene, while the motorhome had moderate damage.
Johnson County deputies assisted the Patrolmen at the scene.
