St. Louis Woman Dies After Injuries From Fall On Ice

ST. LOUIS (AP) — A St. Louis woman has died after falling on ice and injuring her back. Thirty-two-year-old Karey Kaemmerer was chasing her daughter's dog last week when she slipped on ice that formed in south St. Louis after a water main break. Kaemmerer went to an emergency room and was told she had ruptured discs. She was given pain medication and told to see a surgeon. Days later, she was found dead. The exact cause of death has not been determined.
