The Studio A Dance Conservatory culminated their year with a recital on Saturday, May 31 and Sunday, June 1 at the Heckart Theater at the Smith-Cotton High School. This was the fourth year for the event, and Anna Crumley Nelson, owner and director of Studio A Dance Conservatory, had the theme of 'Moving 4Ward'

The recital featured dances from each of her classes, the company, various solos and duos, a father/daughter dance and new this year was the mother's challenge.

Each performance was close to a sell out and the crowd enjoyed each of the acts.

I had a blast in the father/daughter dance and challenge each of the dad's out there to do things outside their element. Dancing is not something I've ever been good at, but as I've come to say more often lately, I'll move mountains for my daughter and had fun doing it. Great job to the mom's. They only had three or practices and everyone seemed to enjoying being in it. I've got to say the ladies and gentlemen in the whole production, put on a great show. All their practices and sacrifices paid off for great entertainment through the shows. Keep it up this summer and next year.
