The following Sedalia Police and Pettis County Sheriff's crime reports are from the morning of Wednesday, December 9, 2015.

Sedalia Police arrested 35-year-old Jeremiah Jones after he fled from the Pettis County Courthouse. He fled to a home near Lafayette and East 3rd and was found hiding under a sofa, bond set at $4,500.

A man in the area of North Osage and West Johnson reported to Sedalia Police someone shot a window at the apartment on Monday afternoon (December 7).

A woman in the area of West 4th and South Missouri reported to Sedalia Police she was assaulted.

An employee of Dollar General, at 619 North Ohio, reported to Sedalia Police a robbery after she was hit by a suspect several times Monday morning (December 7), after he attempted to steal items. The suspect left the store and drove away. The suspect,  26-year-old Jessica Brown was later found and arrested for robbery in the 2nd, assault in the 3rd and shoplifting.

A man in the 6900 Block of East Highway 50 reported to Sedalia Police there was a burglary, yesterday (December 8).
An elderly woman reported to Sedalia Police she was seeing ghosts and spirits inside her home. The woman reported that the ghost or spirit stole eight credit cards and an address book. The woman did not want to make a report on the stolen items.

Sedalia Police arrested Joshua Winkler for a drug violation for possession of marijuana-misdemeanor, possession of drug paraphernalia, abues & lose drug possession and operating a motor vehicle over age 21.

Sedalia Police arrested Amber Lawson for a probation violation, bond set at $2,500 cash/surety.

Sedalia Police arrested Stormy Ledford for failure to appear-misdemeanor, bond set at $178.50.

Sedalia Police arrested Ryan Wright for failure to appear, bond set at $50.

Pettis County Deputies arrested Leslie Bartlett on two active warrants at the Pettis County Sheriff's Office.

Sedlia Police arrested Shanonda Dean for driving while suspended.
