A Sedalia man was arrested and another is at large after the Sedalia Police Department STING Unit investigated drug activity reported at 706 West 10th St. last night (Dec. 3). Sedalia Police could smell the odor of marijuana emitting from the house as they made contact with one of the residents at the door. Holden Browning, 23, was found to be in possession of marijuana and paraphernalia and was arrested.

Other subjects in the home were released after Sedalia Police could not find a reason to detain them further.

The STING unit searched the house and then found several firearms, marijuana, methamphetamine and drug packaging materials. Sedalia Police discovered that one of the people they released, 23-year-old Christopher Quick, owned some of the property and is still at large.

Browning was charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and unlawful for certain persons to possess a firearm. Quick is facing charges of two counts of possession of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute and possession of drug paraphernalia.
