Suspect Sought After Double Homicide in Jefferson City

Authorities are searching for a man suspected of killing two people in Jefferson City.

KRCG-TV reports that Police Capt. Doug Shoemaker says the victims were suffering from serious injuries when officers arrived Wednesday night and later died. Their names weren't immediately released.

Officers are using a helicopter and police dogs to look for a 27-year-old Brandon Rapier. He was recently released from prison after being convicted of stabbing a person in 2014.
