The American Red Cross mobile unit came from Columbia to Sedalia Saturday and set up in front of Sears in the Thompson Hills Shopping Center to collect blood from donors.
Residents of Sedalia are encouraged to take advantage of an offer from the Sedalia Fire Department, American Red Cross, and their community partners. The Sedalia Fire Department will be installing free smoke alarms for residents that need them from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, April 30.
