Clinton Woman Arrested for Domestic Assault

On Saturday morning at approximately 5:30 a.m., Clinton Police were dispatched to the Golden Valley Hospital Emergency Room in reference to a subject who had been a victim of assault.  Upon arrival, it was determined that the victim had suffered a serious head wound that appeared to have been caused by a blunt object.

Knife-Wielding Attacker Faces Multiple Charges Following An Assault on a Sedalia Woman

In a follow up on a story KSIS brought you last week, at 5:14  a.m. on Thursday, September 13, a female victim called the Sedalia Police Department to report that a man had broken into her house and assaulted her with a knife. The police report states the victim fought with the suspect until he fled the residence and the victim received serious injuries during the home invasion. The suspect, 28-year-old Matthew Lee Cloyd of Sweet Springs, was caught as police officers, and detectives from the Sedalia Police Investigative Unit were canvasing the neighborhood.

There have been many cases of broken windows to homes, businesses, and vehicles in the last week and Sedalia Police continue to receive reports of them. A man in the 2300 Block of Kay Avenue reported that someone broke the rear window of his car between 7pm on May 31st and 6:25 yesterday morning
