There’s a bizarre narrative floating around the internet: Avengers: Age of Ultron is already a disappointment because it didn’t open higher than The Avengers in its first weekend. This seems to be ignoring the fact that The Avengers had the biggest opening of all time and Avengers: Age of Ultron now has the second biggest opening of all time, which is nothing to scoff at. Sure, the sequel may not match the numbers of the first movie in the end, but it’s already well on the way to becoming one of the biggest movies of the year. And of all time.

Just before filming began on Avengers: Age of Ultron, Scarlett Johansson found out she was pregnant. A movie like Avengers can't just be delayed, so Marvel used a variety of tricks to hide the pregnancy including shooting her from the waist up, using three stunt doubles and CGI-ing out her growing belly. Although Marvel hasn’t included a Hulk film in their Phase 3 plans, the possibility for a new solo movie for Bruce Banner and his smashing alter-ego isn’t entirely out of the question — Marvel did just make room for a new Spider-Man film on their schedule, after all. And while it doesn’t appear that the studio is actively developing a new Hulk movie, Avengers: Age of Ultron star Mark Ruffalo remains optimistic, hinting at the possibilities for his big green character in the future of the MCU.

It's inevitable: one day there will be an 'Avengers' reboot. It's hard to think of now, as 'Avengers 2' hasn't even hit theaters and Phase 3 of Marvel's Cinematic Universe hasn't even begun yet.
