Salvation Army Thanks Their Volunteers with Prizes and Lunch [PHOTOS]

The Salvation Army works very hard for the people of Sedalia and Pettis County.  They provide food, clothing, shelter, and some good old fashioned company for folks who are going through a rough time.  They thrive and live on volunteers and their kind hearts.  They give their time to a larger cause, and do it willingly every day.

Devon’s Beat 5k Run and Walk Will Raise Money for SADS Foundation [INTERVIEW]

The Devon’s Beat 5k Run/Walk will be held at the Lincoln Football Field on Saturday, April 5. We will be having their Second 5k that will benefit the SADS Foundation. SADS is Sudden Arhythmia Death Syndrome are genetic heart rhythm abnormalities that can cause sudden death in young, healthy people who are undiagnosed. Sudden arrhythmia death syndromes cause sudden death in young, apparently healthy people.
