Sedalia Police and Pettis County Sheriff’s Report: Monday Morning, May 28
Over the weekend, the USGS reported a 2.3 magnitude earthquake that occurred around the Clinton area on Saturday afternoon. There were no reports of damages or injuries.
On May 24th at 2:30 in the morning, the Sedalia Police Department received a call from a 32 year old female stating that a male subject attempted to sexually assault her at a location near M Highway and McVey Roads

The Sedalia Police Department and The Pettis County Children’s Division are reportedly investigating a case involving a one-year-old child being exposed to a sexually transmitted disease in the 1700 block of East 4th. There was no further information

Yesterday morning, the Sedalia STING unit and other officers served a search warrant at 1210 South Carr. Upon arrival the residence was secured and two subjects were located inside. A search of the residence revealed marijuana, drug paraphernalia, crack cocaine, and crack cocaine manufacturing materials
