June 28, 2012 Pettis County Fire Fighters were called to a structure fire to the wooden-decked low water crossing on South Grand Avenue, approximately 1/2 mile north of Anderson School Road Wednesday evening. A large amount of spent fireworks were observed at the location, leading to the possibility of the fire being ignited by citizen carelessness
June 28, 2012 Last night (June 27), Pettis County Fire Fighters were called to a structure fire at a wooden-decked low water crossing on South Grand Avenue. Firefighters say a large amount of spent firework debris and packaging were found at the bridge, leading them to believe that fireworks ignited the bridge.
Forget about the dawn’s early light, this Fourth of July is all about the rockets’ red glare, the bombs bursting in air and maybe even a couple of spiders. Those are the ones that, well, look kind of like a spider, anyway.
