I-70 Community Hospital

A rural Missouri hospital has been cut off from the federal Medicare program after the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services found serious deficiencies threatening patient health and safety.

There will be a Veterans resource and health fair on Friday, June 20. The event will be held at the I-70 Community Hospital, 105 Hospital drive in Sweet Springs from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

May is National Military Appreciation Month.   Although a lot of us in the area definitely appreciate our veterans and soliders serving every day, you don't always get the chance to show it.  And it's one thing to say you appreciate veterans - it's another to show it.

Rural hospital owner HMC/CAH Consolidated Inc., the owner and operator of I-70 Community Hospital emerged from Chapter 11 bankruptcy on Jan. 17, 2013. HMC/ CAH’s exit from bankruptcy ended its 15 months of intense reorganization and HMC/ CAH emerged stronger financially with all 12 hospitals intact. HMC/CAHs facilities are located in rural communities across the United States.
