Sedalia Police Report: Morning of June 15, 2012
June 15, 2012 Yesterday afternoon, Sedalia Police received a report that a male suspect, armed with a knife, had raped a woman near the Katy Trail in the 2300 Block of Clinton Road. A subsequent investigation revealed the suspect as 43-year old Ronald Greer. At 9:49 last night, Greer was located in the Centennial Park. Greer fled on foot and was caught in a nearby field and placed under arrest. Greer also had an active warrant for a parole violation. Greer was transported to the Pettis County Jail and held without bond for a parole violation warrant. Charges of rape, unlawful use of a weapon, armed criminal action, and stalking are being sought for Greer.
