He is the son of the late Emil J. and Amanda Bethke. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Dorothy Smith. He is survived by his wife Mary K. of O’Fallon, MO, his daughter Renee (Timothy) Dyer, 2 grandsons Timothy “T.J.” Meder, and Nolan Dyer of St. Paul, MO.
