The State Fair Community College Lady Roadrunners softball program received the Missouri Community College Athletic Conference (MCCAC) Sportsmanship award for the 2016-2017 season, and freshman pitcher/outfielder MacKenze Gudde was named to the MCCAC All-Conference first team.

The 18th ranked Lady Roadrunners basketball team started their 2016-2017 season with a 104-49 victory over John Wood Community College from Quincy, Illinois, Nov. 4 in the Fred E. Davis Center on the Sedalia campus.

The State Fair Community College Roadrunners suffered their first lost of the season to Coffeyville in the Coffeyville Classic Saturday (November 21). Coffeyville won in overtime 106 to 99.
