All State Fair Community College campus locations will close Jan. 15 in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

Monday is Martin Luther King Jr. Day, in which we're reminded about the late speaker's quest for civil rights equality.

Reverend Martin Luther King Jr. is one of the most important figures in twentieth century America, which makes it odd that he's yet to receive the cinematic bio-pic treatment. Now it looks like Oliver Stone will bring his story to the big screen, with 'The Amazing Spider-Man 2' star Jamie Foxx playing the famous civil rights leader.

Martin Luther King Jr. Day may be on Jan. 21, but several activities are going on at the University of Central Missouri in the next week in observance of this day.  L.
