We have become a society of picture takers and a much more visual society

I think seeing a can or bottle of Tab conjures up memories for many of us.

Jim Frey who lead the Royals to their first World Series in 1980 and lead the Chicago Cubs to two post season appearances has died at the age of 88.

The closing of our local K-Mart store has gotten me thinking back to times past.

One of my favorite holidays of the year is Easter. It brings back a lot of great memories. Being an Air Force Brat, I can recall doing a few Easter Egg hunts with the youth center or a few squadron parties or even at the base church. I also have the great memories of waking up on Easter Morning and seeing the eggs hidden around the house or in the backyard if the weather was good.

This summer, my kids took swim lessons at the Liberty Park Pool and have long enjoyed going swimming.  I think everybody has a great memory of summer growing up, and I'm sure swimming has to be in there somewhere.   I can remember my brother and I swimming in the big pool in Germany, taking swimming lessons at Whiteman Air Force Base and even swim time at H...
