Mid-Mo Outlaws

After the Super Bowl, I always find myself in a bit of a slump.  I don't really care for basketball and baseball is still a ways off.  So when the Mid-Mo Outlaws are getting ready to play, I get very excited.  What better way to start off the 2013 season than with a party?

Last week we reported that the Mid-Missouri Outlaws would be more than likely joining the Champions Professional Football League. Yesterday (August 22), Outlaws co-owner Ethan Henson held a press conference at the Celebration Center formally announcing that they would join the league as one of the founding teams.

Earlier this week, we reported that the Sioux City Bandits formed a new indoor football league, called the Champions Professional Indoor Football League.  While no formal announcement has been made other than the Bandits and a team from Kansas City committing to the CPIFL, it looks like the pieces are being put in place.  The CPIFL last week met in Council Bluffs and they voted unanimously to appo
