Despite having the 5th best percentage in the league, the Mid-Missouri Outlaws have advanced to the playoffs. Here is the official statement of the playoffs proceedings for this year as according to the American Professional Football League:

The Mid-Missouri Outlaws are Sedalia's professional indoor football team. The Outlaws are members of the American Professional Football League that plays eight-man arena football. The Outlaws are Three-Time Central Plains Football League (CPFL) Champions and finished in second place the first year in 2010 in the APFL

The Mid-Missouri Outlaws are in a must win situation against the Kansas Koyotes. Earlier this season the Koyotes defeated the Outlaws at the Mathewson Exhibition Center and with that loss, the Outlaws are in need of a road victory
