Sedalia to Hold Downtown New Year’s Day Parade
Sedalia's first Downtown Sedalia New Year's Parade will be held Wednesday, Jan. 1 at 3:00 p.m., with lineup starting at 2:00 p.m. There is no entrance fee to be in the parade, and the lineup order will be first come first served. Staging will take place at Sixth Street and Ohio, then travel down Ohio to Main Street then turn on to Osage before disbanding.

Prior to the Sedalia Area Chamber of Commerce Breakfast this Thursday morning (Dec. 12), KSIS had the opportunity to talk to Sedalia Mayor Elaine Horn about upcoming events  this weekend. Mayor Horn will be riding in the parade this year, which will take place at 10:00 Saturday morning after being delayed by cold weather last Saturday.

Fairgoers lined the streets as a long line of Missouri organizations rolled through the fairgrounds this afternoon (Aug. 8). The Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2591 Lady Auxiliary hosted the St. Patrick's Day Parade in Downtown Sedalia on Saturday, Mar. 16. This year's theme was " Lucky 13 - Go For the Gold." There were many kids and families who participated in the cake walk at the VFW Building before the parade, then took their bikes and rode along with about 40 parade entries down Ohio Street...
